The annual Tannenbaum Ball is Fredericksburg’s premier holiday celebration and the Gillespie County Historical Society's signature fundraising event, supporting the preservation and operation of the two historic museums it owns and operates: the Pioneer Museum and Vereins Kirche Museum. We invite you to join a distinguished group of community-minded supporters whose generosity helps preserve the rich history, culture, and traditions of Gillespie County. 

Always an elegant and memorable evening, the 19th Annual Tannenbaum Ball returns to St. Mary’s Holy Family Center on December 11, 2026. This year’s theme, “An American Christmas,” celebrates the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding.
