Fused glass is created by layering multiple pieces of compatible glass together then firing in a kiln at high temperatures. Local artisan Cindy Cherrington is a master at this and is currently working on different techniques for her incredible pieces of art. Because of her love for nature you will see landscapes, seascapes and animals plus still life’s in her pieces of art. Cindy’s motto: “Life is colorful. My art is a reflection of my love for animals. When I create a sculpture, I am reminded of the many animals that I knew as a veterinarian. These creatures were my soul and reason for being. The lessons I have learned in humility and kindness have come from patients during my years as a veterinarian. May they always be a part of my life.
